This is a truly beautiful piece of work. The tapestry is worked in sumptuous coloured wools and white silk, against a dramatic black background. There are roses, morning glory and lilies, all in rich shades and perfect detail. The tapestry piece was worked in the 1930s and recently made into a cushion with a plush, black velvet backing, piped edge and zip closure.
