1930s French Fabric Box (hw755)
A beautiful French fabric box dating to the 1930s. The fabric is very, very pretty with a floral deco style pattern. The lid has a braid edging and delightful ribbed effect. This was originally a stationery box and still has its decorative label on the inside of the lid. The inside of the box is lined with a dainty oak leaf design paper.
A beautiful vintage fabric box which will prove useful for holding many items, including jewellery and perhaps your secret love letters!
The box is approximately 10" wide by 6.5" deep and 4" high. It is in very good condition, the lid has some slight lifting at the corners which could perhaps be rectified if necessary.
