We adore vintage textiles and this month we've chosen two designs of fabric from the Vintage Home store to tantalise and tease you.
The first is a glorious four-colour space-age design with towering rock formations and similarly tall and impressive shiny red rockets. The red white and blue give an American flavour (as does the image of Earth in the background) whilst the wonderfully stylised shape of the rockets, space suits and equipment evoke a feel of the postwar space race and every little boys dream of going to the stars!

In addition, we present an example of a totally 'spaced-out' abstract design textile from the 1950s. The red is so vibrant yet combines stunningly with the lemon yellow and calming green to create a fabulously dynamic and energetic feel to the cloth - drawn to a frenzied creshendo by the black and white slash lines throughout...wow!...it can exhaust you just looking at it!
